TOLERANCE  Assalam –uali-kum,
I hope that you are well. Since I reached here in Pakistan from Singapore. I
faced a lot of problems. There are not my own created problems but are due
to disturbance of Pakistani’s tolerance as well as all over the world. I
hope you will be well aware of suicide attacks. These are taking place all
over the world especially in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. These are badly affected by
these. Everyday I read newspaper, watch news channels especially news
bullion, all media channels brought cast about suicide attacks. A large
numbers of innocent people have been killed in these attacks, cruelty and
injuries. I think the main facts in lack of tolerance. You know tolerance
means bear hardships with patience. It also means, to bear someone’s
attitude which you do not like. You also studied about World War I and II
which were fought nearly all over the World. Lacks of people were killed. I
think there again tolerance was ignored and the result was very dreadful.
Crusades War was held because of lack of tolerance. Jerusalem is a holy city
for three religions Islam, Judaism and Christianity, so the question of its
ownership is therefore, very important to many people. When
Muslim conquered this city the pop called the great conference and demanded
that Jerusalem be freed. Exited the Europeans to Middle East. The crusades
provided a focus for their energies, some of them were deeply religious but
many were just looking for adventure, booty and power. a lot of innocent
people were killed during these wars. I think this loss of lives was due to
lack of tolerance. We being Muslims follow the example of Prophet (PBUH) who once made a deal
of dates will in advance. Then he came well before the decided dates and
started quarreling. Hazrat Umer (RTA) wanted to kill him due to his cruelty
but M.(PBOH) stopped him and ordered to give the Jew more dates than
decided. The whole life of prophet (PBUH) is full of example of tolerance.
In Taif He (PBUH) was injured by hitting stones but he prayed for them. In
Makkah a lot of difficulties and problems >> were created by enemies. Even in Madina the enemies attacked several times but in
return when Makkah was conquered by Muslims and Muhammad (PBUH) took over
most of Arabia. He (PBUH) forgave his enemies. He gives message to us in
Quran "Allah is with those who perform tolerance". Our Pakistani leaders had
been attacked by suicides. President Musharraf had been attacked twice.
Benazir was attacked in Karachi, so many innocent people were killed but
luckily in Liakat Bagh, Rawalpindi, she was killed with so many other
people. This incident had affected whole of the nations.Laal Masjid along
Jamia Hifza was destroyed by the order of General Musharraf. Due to this so
many students (Hafez Quran) were killed. When Iraq was attacked, Bush
announced that they had started crusades, which later denied but this is a
fact the policies of Bush and western countries are totally wrong and are
the cause of disturbance throughout the world, especially in Islamic world.
Poverty is another root of suicide attacks, limited number of people owned
most portion of the wealth, and they are rich. But the most population of
the world is on poverty line. They cannot lead a peaceful life. They are
unable to provide enough food to their children. So to earn money children
and parents use unfair means. Some parents sell their children as a servant
or some kills them and themselves due to lack of tolerance. As you know well
about Kashmir and Palestine. Hair again Muslims are target. They hasp not
given their basic freedom rights and they are kept in their own countries
like slaves. These people react in the shape of suicide bombers. As in
Afghanistan we see a Muslims government of Taliban was attacked and a lot of
number of innocent people were murdered and are being killed in these days.
So the people feel that respected death is better than insulted life. Here
both sides are acting against the tolerance rules. Iraq has same game like
Afghanistan. A large number of Muslim communities have been destroyed by
Americans and they are still killing Muslim citizens. Population of Iraq and
Afghanistan feel that America and western countries wants to finish Islam.
American wrong policies are the root caves of dissidence throughout the
world especially in Muslims world. Its attitude towards Muslims is cruel and
partial. Unluckily leaders of some Muslim countries are his aliens. Who are
working for Bush policy and not for Muslims. If America and western
countries try to know the root causes of suicide attack and are range to
stop them. It is not impossible to stop suicide attacks. But sorry to say
that both sides are not showing tolerance. This will be most dangerous for
the world peace. Why are the advanced countries do not bother about world
peace. Islam is peaceful religion and wants to maintain peace allover the
world. But it is bad luck that good and evil forces are fighting each other.
Which is dangerous for everyone in the world. No, one is defeating anyone
but destroying the world peace. If we display tolerance, these all problems
will be solved. And this will be peace all over the world. So the question
is why we need tolerance? We need tolerance for peace, comfort of inner
self, better future, brotherhood, saving of lives, avoiding wars,
civilization and to save-cultures. >>
